eInformation Systems, Security and Audit Association is promoted to create awareness in the areas of eGovernance, eAuditing, Quality Assurance, Security and related areas in the field of Information Technology.
OBJECTIVES

Its main objectives are as follows :

  • To interact with International and Indian Institutions / Professional Bodies, Universities, Organizations and conduct research on mutually acceptable topics of interest.
  • To formulate standards / best practices in the areas of Systems, Security and Audit in Information Technology.
  • To promote and assist Government (Central / State) on priority and thrust areas such as e-Commerce, e-Finance, e-Trade / Business, e-Education, Quality Assurance and Certification.
  • To undertake specialized / customized training programs for its individuals/ corporate members to capacity and capability building for professional development by disseminating the latest developments in the Information Technology, e-Finance, e-Audit and e-Security.
  • To work with various other international/national professional societies and standards institutions to devise industry driven universal curriculum to provide suitable Human Resources needed to make India as a Global power in IT, Finance and Audit.
IMPACT OF THE ASSOCIATION

Association today operates in India through its three chapters in Mumbai, Kolkata and Bangalore besides it's Head Office in New Delhi and it shall be very shortly more chapters in India and abroad. Association is also assisting in formulating industry oriented curriculums in the area of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) , Security and Audit.

Association is also in the process of publishing books in the above stated areas. Association is active in standards formation activity in the country as it represents india in ISO as voting member and is also represented in the Bureau of Indian Standards.

Association is also a Special Invitee in the Inter-Ministerial Working Group on Cyber Security Education and Awareness formed by Department of Information Technology, Ministry of Communication and Information Technology, Government of India.

Association is actively engaged in Distance Learning, eLearning and is also in process of setting-up iAssurance labs in India.
